There is no EV Race without a BMW
BMW is no stranger when it comes to delivering world-class electric vehicles. Known for its classy style, unparalleled engineering and breathtaking performance, BMW has been some what of a pioneer within the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry.
The BMW i8 HYBRID screams style and outrageous performance and then it released the i3 fully EV car which had more appeal to the mass.
This year, in 2022, BMW has taken the game to another level by planning to release its regular sedan look fully EV car. The BMW i4 EV!
So what do we know about the 2022 BMW i4 electric vehicle?

The BMW i4 is a 4-door sedan with a uniquely designed extended roofline hatchback. but it probably should have been called a 5-door hatchback.
It comes in two variants for now. The basic variant is the single-motor eDrive40 and BMW drivers know very well that the car is never complete until it has the M variant, the dual motor M50 making the M’s first entry in the electric vehicle race.

The all-powerful 2022 BMW i4 EV – M50 version
- All-wheel-drive
- Dual excited AC synchronous motors
- 536 hp (400 kilowatt).
- Range of 270 miles or 430 km
- Single-speed transmission.
- 0-60 MPH in 3.7 sec
- J1772 AC Fast charging capability (11 kW)
Both BMW i4 variants reportedly have 83.9 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery’s charging system includes a 200 kW CCS L3 DCFC charging system and 7.4/11.0 kW (single and three-phase charger) with L2 charging capability.
This Electric BMW is a real head-turner.
With the BMW i4, you can enjoy the class and luxury of a Gran Coupe with all the added benefits of an all-electric vehicle. Not to mention, in a sustainable way! M suspension makes the i4 a very comfortable for the daily driver. The 2022 BMW i4 is a Game-changer
We all know that the BMW is known for its impeccable craftsmanship and this high speed electric vehicle beemer is nothing sort of a spectacle on wheels. It is the first-ever all-electric Gran Coupe arrives with class-defining style and performance.
So how much the i4 does it cost?
BMW i4 starts at $55,400 whereas the M50 starts at a whopping $65,900.
